Don’t get too tired out at RFT’s music showcase, because Nick Catchdubs’ set at the Gramophone will be the ultimate cap to a day of great music. A founder of pioneering electronic music label Fools Gold with A-Trak, Catchdubs has helped bring artists like Kid Sister and Kid CuDi into the limelight as well as release great remixes in his own right. Whether is be electro, hip-hop, or house, he always chooses the freshest cuts to keep the party raging. Saturday will be his first St. Louis – go out and show him that our town can throw down.

Friday, Feb. 12th
Where: the Gramophone
When: 9 PM
Looking to start your Mardi Gras weekend off right? The party begins at 9PM on Friday night with The Hood Internet’s genre swapping mash-ups (one of my favorites, Weezer vs. Drake). The Chicago DJ duo has taken the internet (and clubs all over the states) by storm with mixtapes and performances combining Top 100 rap with under-the-radar indie, which is a surprisingly good recipe for an epic dance party. See you there!
