Traveling all the way from Syracuse, New York, Ra Ra Riot returned to grace the Firebird’s stage. Performing for an insanely packed house, the band’s energetic set was crafted primarily around their 2010 release, The Orchard. Frontman Wes Miles rocked a vintage STL t-shirt, and the band thanked the adoring audience for their support in the form of a three song encore. (more…)

Hometown heroes So Many Dynamos played to a jam-packed crowd last Friday night at the Firebird. The band brought their friends Bo and The Locomotive and US English on stage to wrap up the night with a cover of “Don’t You Want Me” by The Human League. (more…)

Warnings of the threatening ice storm didn’t keep California Wives out of St. Louis Sunday night at The Firebird. The quartet tried out a smoke machine for the first time, adding to their ambient synth pop sounds.
